Husband and wife team Dr. William W. Emley, Jr. and Dr. Kelly A. Farrell-Emley opened Emley Family Chiropractic in 2006. They reside in Massillon, Ohio and are the proud parents of three young children, Will, Evan and Elise.
Dr. William W. Emley Jr. has been in practice since 2001. He graduated from Tuscarawas Valley High School. He then attended The Ohio State University, graduating Cum Laude, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in the Biological Sciences. He then attended National Univeristy of Health Sciences (formerly National College of Chiropractic) where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic as well as a second Bachelor’s degree in Human Anatomy. Dr. Emley loves his professional career and enjoys treating patients and helping them to achieve their healthcare goals and becoming the best version of themselves. When at home, he enjoys being with his family, competing in running, tennis, basketball and golf, coaching his son’s athletic teams, traveling, music and reading.
Dr. Kelly Farrell-Emley has been in practice since 2001. She is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in 2000. Dr. Farrell-Emley continually strives to expand her chiropractic knowledge and regularly attends seminars to provide up-to-date information and treatment options for her patients. She is educated in evaluating patients’ nutritional needs and educating them on how to attain the nutrients essential for optimal health. She treats patients ranging in age from newborns to patients in their late nineties’. From a woman’s perspective she is able to identify and provide a treatment plan for women trying to conceive, women with menstrual disorders, obesity, menopause, post-menopause and various other woman-related conditions. She is a caring person who realizes that everyone is unique and provides care that is tailored to each specific patient. Her favorite pastimes include running, tennis, reading, healthy/tasteful cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Michelle L. Hamm joined our team in November 2011. Dr. Hamm is originally from western Pennsylvania and is a Stow High School graduate. She completed her pre-requisite training at The University of Akron. She graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2007. Dr. Hamm’s first exposure to chiropractic was as a patient while working on her bachelor’s degree. Dr. Hamm finds chiropractic to be a great way to achieve and maintain health through conservative, natural means and has been a patient and “teacher” of chiropractic ever since. As a former chiropractic patient and now physician, Dr. Hamm is very sensitive to any questions or concerns new patients’ have when first starting chiropractic care.
Dr. Erin M. Emley-Wadelin joined our team in August 2017. She graduated from Tuscarawas Valley High School and then attended The Ohio State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended National University of Health Sciences, where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and 100-hour acupuncture certification. Dr. Erin completed her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from University of Western States, which allows her to treat a variety of chronic health conditions, including digestive complaints, autoimmune diseases, headaches, hormonal imbalances, cardio-metabolic conditions, mental illnesses, and acute and chronic pain. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals through a variety of therapies, including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, biomedical dry needling, nutritional counseling, lifestyle education, and McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). She also is certified in Webster Technique and enjoys working with women before and during pregnancy to help optimize the health of a mom and baby during pregnancy and delivery. After practicing for 2 years in the Chicago area, where she met her husband, Chris, she is excited to be back in Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys barre and yoga classes, cheering on the Buckeyes, and spending time with her pets, family, and friends.
