Beginning January 1, 2023, Emley Family Chiropractic will no longer be taking insurance assignments, except for Aultcare. Aultcare does not cover maintenance adjustment treatment schedules (i.e. one per month, once per six weeks, once per two weeks) and therefore patients who are treated at this frequency will be expected to pay at the time of service and your insurance will not be billed.
This means that our practice will no longer process insurance claims, payment for our services will be due at time of service and can be paid via cash, check or credit/debit card. For those patients who wish to file a claim with their insurance directly, we will provide the documents needed. With this change, our practice will be considered "Out of Network" for insurance companies.
Please know that this change, while overdue, is not one we make without taking into consideration how it will effect our patients. Processing insurance for our patients has, historically, been a service that we have been happy to provide. However, changes in our healthcare system over the past decade have decreased our ability to provide quality care. This shift in our practice will enable the physicians and staff of Emley Family Chiropractic to fully focus on our patients needs and provide the high-quality healthcare you deserve.
